1. Information we collect
- Account: When you sign up, your account (e.g., email or phone, name, profile details) is created and stored with our backend provider, Supabase.
- Listings & deals: Items you post to Rent Anything or Seller Corner (title, description, price, photos, approximate area) and requests/deals with other users.
- Location: With your permission, we use your device location (or the village/mandal you choose) to show nearby listings and local news. You can deny or revoke this in Android settings.
- Camera & photos: With your permission, used only when you take or choose a photo for the AI assistant or for a listing. Photos sent to the AI assistant are processed to generate a response.
- Usage & learning data: Course progress, test results and earnings balance, to provide those features.
- Advertising data: We show ads via Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address and ad interaction data. See How Google uses data.
2. Rewarded ads and earnings
Rewarded ads are optional. Rewards are verified using AdMob server-side verification (SSV), which sends a signed callback containing your user ID and reward details to our server. Earnings depend on ad revenue and are not guaranteed.
3. Kids Mode
Kids Mode shows no ads. Sakhi is intended for general audiences; children should use it under parental supervision.
4. How we use information
To run the app, show nearby listings and news, provide AI and learning features, calculate rewards, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the app.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to run the app (Supabase for hosting/database/authentication, Google AdMob for ads, AI providers to process assistant requests), when required by law, or as you choose (e.g., your public listings are visible to other users nearby).
6. Security & retention
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and kept only as long as your account is active or as needed for legal purposes.
7. Your choices
You can edit or delete your listings, revoke permissions, reset your Advertising ID in Android settings, and request deletion of your account and data by emailing us.
